Are survey sites legit? savingsinseconds.com

When I first heard about earning money by taking surveys, I really thought that it was too good to be true.  After all, who would give away free gift cards?   It wasn’t until I joined a couple of different sites that I really found how easy and fun it could be to take surveys for money.  Now, I’m not saying that it’s a get-rich-quick scheme.  This is something that I enjoy doing when I’m waiting in the pickup line after school or sitting in the waiting room at the doctor’s office.  I find that I can finish one or two surveys in 10 minutes or less.  After several days of doing that, I have usually earned enough points to cashout for a gift card or some other reward.   I much prefer the gift cards, but have used the rewards to purchase magazine subscriptions and things for gifts, too.  Here’s one of the gift cards I received after just a few days of doing surveys….I love to use these for online purchases, especially those that are “freebies” that I have to pay up front.

I posted about some of my favorite sites earlier, but now I have a few more to add.  If you like this post, be sure to check out this post where I explain how to earn free gift cards. I also posted how to earn Amazon gift cards on Zoombucks.

Ipsos I-Say is my new favorite.   I get at least two or three new surveys per day so the cashout opportunity comes quickly.  I also like it that I earn a few points even when the survey isn’t offered to me.  The most fun part of I-Say is the Poll Predictor.  At the end of the surveys, there’s a chance to play this game that takes just a few seconds, but you can win stuff!

Yahoo Yodelers sends me a couple of surveys a month. They are easy to complete and I don’t do them all.  Sometimes they send me a Starbucks gift card for my time, so it’s worth it.

If you are a CVS shopper, be sure to register your email on their site.  I get surveys a few times a year and almost always earn some extra bucks rewards afterwards.  Sometimes they pay $20 or $25 in ExtraBucks!  Totally worth it, and I suspect this is how I get a few extra samples that I didn’t request, too.

I earn MyPoints by clicking on email links.  They add up pretty quickly! There are bonuses for doing searches and making purchases through their link as well.  I usually cash out for Applebee’s gift cards to send with my husband for lunch, or sometimes for a CVS gift card.

I still like MyView and MySurvey.  I haven’t done as many surveys with Opinion Outpost because I kept getting screened out, but for a while I was definitely cashing out quite frequently with them.

If you sign up for several sites, the emails can get a bit overwhelming. I recommend using a dedicated email account and just clicking on it when you have the time.  You could also use your regular email and just keep a folder for surveys.  Move the surveys to the folder and do a few when you have some time.  Let me know when you cash out, I’d love to celebrate with you!

Here are some more survey sites and similar chances to earn free gift cards.  I haven’t tried all of them so I’d love to hear your experiences about them! I’m always looking for new sites to join, so share your affiliate links if you do surveys, too.   If you’ve got a few extra minutes while you’re sitting around waiting for your child’s music lesson to end, or whatever, these might be worth a shot.  Those extra gift cards can be a way to stretch the budget, have some fun money, or to fill out your gift card stash for the holidays.  Let me know what you think!

I too, used to do surveys quite often, but then it seemed that I wasn’t “qualifying”, more often than not. I think that I’ll try getting back on with a couple that you’ve mentioned.

I’ve tried a few of the different survey sites. I do inbox dollars, and frankly, they find some “reason” to disqualify me each and every time! AND, I may be taking it for 10 mins. and I don’t get any points at all. I’m going to have to try out those sites that you mentioned. Thanks!

  9. I am a member of Ipsos Isay as well! Love their site, and they have so many opportunities for surveys. Ive earned a couple Amazon cards from Swagbucks just for using the toolbar, and on mommytalksurveys.com is a good one too, you can get paid out in cash after hitting $35.

My daughter is involved in several of these. She likes I-Say and MySurveys both. Opinion Outpost is another one especially now that they offer Amazon. Mypoints also gives you rewards like ebates through shopping through them. Much help! We earn paypal and gift cards for Amazon and restaurants.

  16. Rebecca Parsons says

    Swagbucks is my favorite one!

  17. I contineu to hear about these survey sites. I really need to sign up for one. I am going to look at the different ones you have posted…thank you!

  18. RICHARD HICKS says

I used to do a lot of surveys but they take a lot of time. I did win every now and then though!

  19. It seems like it takes me 30 minutes to 45 minutes per survey and because they are so long it’s monotonous to me. I wish they would more short 5 to 10 minute surveys. It would seem more like fun instead of a dreadful deed. Maybe I will give a few you posted here a try. Thanks for sharing this post.

  20. Bill Elliott says

That is a great way to earn some extra cash.

  21. I’ve been a member of MyPoints for 10 years or so. Keeps adding up.

  22. Kitty Iecvan says

I’ve tried some of these, and it’s a slow but sure way to earn money!

  23. I just used my Valued Opinion points to pay for my monthly website hosting fees. It helps!
