What are your New Year’s Eve plans? Our family usually tries to stay together, watching a movie at home or at our friend’s house. We are pretty low key. I always love a bit of trivia, and these Wild Facts About New Year would make a great conversation starter at your get-together!
You could turn these into a game by making the trivia true-or-false, or changing them up a bit. For example, write the facts on an index card and leave the “main” answer blank. Let the players fill in the blank, and if they guess the right answer give them a prize! You can also add in these fun facts: Wackiest New Year’s Eve Ball Drops.

How fun! I am going to use this, this New Years Eve!
I’m always looking for things for us to do on NYE!
Now this is an idea I would really love! Thank you!
I’ll have to share those with hubby – we’ll be staying home this year with just us and the kids so it will be a fun way to turn it into a trivia game!
This will be the first year in ages that we are just staying home and taking it easy. Love your ideas for the trivia game, thanks!
That is so cool! I love trivia games like that
Super fun! I love games… Trivia too! We’ll have to incorporate this tonight. : )
We are staying home tonight. If we had been invited to a family-friendly party, we might have gone. Interesting thoughts about New Years.
How fun! My daughter does daily “holidays” with little facts mixed in. She was learning about the ball dropping and things to eat for good luck. We had our green for wealth, fruit for health, and black eyed peas for good fortune. I didn’t know about the cars being stolen….interesting.
