We’ve joined the camping world, and it’s fabulous! In June, we bought a travel trailer with the intention of visiting some of the beautiful mountains and valleys we have near our home. Since some of the campgrounds don’t have Wi-Fi, we knew the kids would need help finding other activities to keep them occupied. Both of my kids love dot-to-dot books, so when I was invited to review this Guardians of the Galaxy book, I jumped at the chance. Opinions shared are mine!
You know how adult coloring books have taken the world by storm? Grown-up dot-to-dot is on its way there, too. This is a SERIOUS dot-to-dot, people. My kids fight over this Guardians of the Galaxy Dot-to-Dot. With 1000+ dots per puzzle, the intricate images come alive in an amazing way. My son is 8 years old and finds this book challenging in a good way. He told me he loves it and wants me to find more like it.
I appreciate that there’s a TIPS section in the book, too, which encourages my son to read instructions. Sections of the dots are color-coded so it’s easier to keep track of your place. A few times my son got off track, or had already marked through a needed dot. I advised him to just skip that number, and there wasn’t a problem with the finished product. The complex illustrations feature favorite characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy series. This book is just in time for the second movie!
