Art has become such an accessible hobby! With the rise in adult coloring books and similar products, it’s easy to pick up an artistic hobby. Fox Chapel Publishing has several new craft books releasing in February. Just Add Watercolor Happy Thoughts is perfect for spring projects!
For beginners like me, a helpful guide is printed right in the front of this craft book. It details the basics from brushes to brushstrokes. This book would be a great option for a birthday party activity, or a DIY night of fun with friends. Each painting is printed on thick watercolor paper with a faint grey line design (see below). Tear along the perforations and frame the art when you’re finished! What a sweet gift it would make.
With 8 designs and the beginner’s tips, this book is the perfect start to a beginning painter’s craft closet. Each uplifting design features calligraphy and whimsical patterns. So darling!
