There’s a little Justice League fan in my house. He lives and breathes all things superhero.  This year at Christmas, I’m sure we’ll have to have some League gifts for him!  Here are some of the items on the list I’ve started.  Feel free to add your ideas below! 

My son LOVES his Nintendo DS, but he doesn’t have any Justice League games for it. Justice League Heroes is pricey, probably due to its 2006 release date, but has excellent reviews. I think he’d love it! Christmas is a great time for my kids to receive new games because they have more time to enjoy the challenge.

BuyCoolShirts has a great selection of Justice League apparel for all ages. My son really likes The Flash, and I appreciate that this hoodie doesn’t have a lot of fanfare. It’s an understated fandom style!

You know that I have to mention a book. It’s in my blood! Justice League Magical Story is bold and colorful as you’d expect from a Parragon Books title. Its durable cover will hold up to a lot of reading moments, and see how inviting the embossed characters make it look?  Little hands will reach for this right away!

Though the superhero stories tend to have at least a little bit of a dark edge to them, this story keeps things mild.  It’s good for the younger set as well as middle elementary.  The text isn’t too lengthy, so young readers will comfortably sit still for this story. I love high-interest books like this. They really help to get reluctant readers engaged, and that’s half the battle when it comes to reading!
