Have you considered making a few extra dollars by working from home? If you have decent writing skills and a creative imagination, check out Elance. I just found it and I’m already hooked! I’ve been browsing all the available jobs. I only bid on one so far but I really want to get more involved. One thing that I love about it is that you can “bid” on jobs. Find one that fits your style and offer your skills to the client. If you use the affiliate link I posted above, you’ll get 10 credits which enables you to bid on 10 jobs.
Living on a teacher’s income is sometimes (always!) challenging. I have to dress like a professional on a small budget. I often purchase things for my classroom out of my pocket. One thing that I try to avoid is spending more time away from my family. With Elance and other freelance writing jobs, I can earn a little extra from home after the kids are in bed. That’s a win-win for me. Also, I love to write, so it’s a great outlet for me as well.
Have you used Elance? I’d love to hear your experience! If you have any other great sites to share, please let me know.
I’ve never tried elance, but you should check realwaystomakemoneyonline.com. She vets a lot of companies, and I’ve found some really creative ways to make money! Also, on my blog I have a category called Feedback Friday, it’s filled with a bunch of ways to make money from home. There are so many right?!
