My kids are finally interested in seeing some movie throwbacks. This week we watched Jurassic Park, Ironman, and Ant-Man …Marvel movies are the Savingsinseconds family splurge. So, today we set out to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp! I consider this money well spent, since my kids finally know who Michelle Pfeiffer is. They’ve been singing about her in Uptown Funk forever, but had no idea who she was until today.
Here are some things to keep in mind when you go see the movie!
You can get a free poster
We like to use Fandango to order our movie tickets in advance. Of course, I always go through Ebates to get cash back! Today we were offered a free poster when we ordered tickets (it doesn’t happen with every order). Just had to pay shipping. My son loves to put these in his room!
They say the word “quantum” a lot
I felt like the profanity in the movie was somewhat cancelled out by all the big scientific words used. For kids who are genuinely curious about the space-time continuum, this movie just might jump start a career in quantum physics. Don’t be afraid to try your own experiment; sneak in a little Wrinkle In Time after this movie.
Plan to stay for the credits
Halfway through the ending credits, there is a BIG scene you don’t want to miss. There’s another scene at the very end, too. We stayed for both, and my kids talked about it the whole way home.
Do you plan to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp?
Anything that spreads the good news about Michelle Pfeiffer is all right in my book.
Sounds awesome, two really unique superheroes.. I though it was a joke when ant man first came out
(My kids finally know who Michelle Pfeiffer is, thanks to Marvel Studios’ ANT-MAN AND THE WASP #AntManAndTheWasp) I saw the previews for this new movie on TV, and I have to say that it does look pretty good to me. It’s playing in our local theater right now.
Love Michelle Pfeiffer! I wish that we would see her in films more often.
This movie looks really good. We are looking forward to seeing it.
I don’t plan on seeing it in the theater but maybe when it’s on Netflix or Amazon Video.
