Lately I’ve made an effort to read some of the thousands of books I’ve downloaded to my Kindle. That, of course, makes me feel like I can download even more free books. Why not? His & Hers was possibly my favorite of 2020. It got better and better as the story went on. I listened to the audiobook version, which I highly recommend — the narration is terrific and really adds to the experience!

I spent the morning trying to find a book for my daughter (we do the 4 Christmas gifts, and I needed a “One to Read” gift). When I finally made my decision and headed to Amazon, I saw this deal for an Amazon smart plug.

Yeah, this year is different. We’ve all said so many times, “2020 is weird.” Not all of the differences have to be bad, though. I realized a few weeks ago that I’m saving a small fortune on not buying lipstick! Last year I was obsessed with Lipsense, which lasts a long time but can be pricey. This year, I’ve barely gone through a tube. So yay for extra Christmas gifts money!

Your coronavirus savings might not come from lipstick, but I bet it’s there somewhere. Maybe it’s the gas money you used to spend on weekend trips, or possibly in the movie tickets you used to buy every few weeks.
