Last year my son was required to read 20 minutes per night, and he had to record his progress on a reading log. He was faithful to do it without arguing (although he doesn’t love to read.) This year, he doesn’t have that requirement and I can tell a big difference in the amount of reading he does on his own. So I made my own reading rule. That’s allowed, right? It’s the sad life of a TK — teacher’s kid. We used to listen to a devotional every morning on the way to school, but this year I’m having him read a devotional to me out loud on the way home. We’re starting with the BibleForce Devotional!
The pages are full-color and look like a comic book. My little guy loves to read graphic novels and comics, so the format makes it seem more appealing. I like that each “hero” is given a title, and that each devotional contains a call to action.
Daily devotions gives our family a chance to connect with God’s word while relating scripture to our daily lives. We have a lot of conversations based around the devotions. It’s my hope that the kids will someday treasure these moments the way I do.

BibleForce Devotional offers a fresh, bright graphic-novel style that will interest boys and girls alike and will be the perfect way to engage young readers who want an active, exciting devotional. It’s a great book to read together and is simple enough for young readers to read on their own. Kids won’t be able to put down this book! The format is so much fun! I can see why your little guy enjoys it.
