Our high school football team made it to the playoffs, which means the band will be there on Friday nights. Which means I will be there with them, waiting for my daughter. This weekend it was COLD — about 26 degrees by the time we got settled in our seats. The key idea here is to wear layers, but I didn’t have a lot of options for pants that would layer well. Thankfully, I ordered these tapered sweatpants in a size up so they’d have a generous give that will make it easy to add a pair of leggings underneath.

I have one other pair of joggers but they’re pretty slim-fitting. In contrast, I purchased these in a size up. This gave me some extra room. I like the flat elastic waistband, which looks nicer than traditional drawstrings.

The pockets on these pants are so deep that I can easily fit my Smartphone inside, or even a pair of gloves!

The tapered legs will help to keep me warm. I can tuck these into my socks, or wear knee socks that will cover my legs a little higher up.
