Savings in Seconds has a really special giveaway prize from BlackBerry to share with you!!  I had the opportunity to review this BlackBerry Bold 9930 smartphone and I am completely smitten.  First of all, I didn’t have a smartphone so I felt like I was finally out of the dark ages.  It has been my sidekick for several days now and I don’t think I can go without it anymore!   I love that the Bold has a touchscreen so that I can navigate easily to the icon I need.  Also, it is so handy to keep the kids entertained with the music channels!  The BlackBerry Bold can sync to other BlackBerry devices such as the PlayBook and the Gateway.  Connecting your devices can save you so much time and frustration by helping you stay organized.   The Bold is the perfect size for me, too.  My “regular” phone is too small and it’s hard to properly talk with it.  When I call my mom, she always complains that she can’t hear me and I know it’s because the speaker is too far from my voice.   The Bold feels so light to hold, yet is large enough to feel comfortable talking into it.   Here’s a picture of the Bold next to my business card, so you can get an idea of its size.

I also liked that the BlackBerry has so many built-in organization tools.  I’m a busy mom and I need all the help I can get with keeping track of my family!  My husband uses a BlackBerry for his work phone so we can even connect our devices to sync them.  Awesome feature!    Ultimately, I’m really glad that this is the smartphone that our family is using.  It is so user-friendly and has great capability for connections with other devices.   It searches so quickly that I’ve really become spoiled and expect everything to move so fast.   Wouldn’t that be nice?!

One more detail I need to share with you—the battery life.  I’ve been so impressed by the length of the charge on this phone!!   I guess I expected that its superhero capabilities would drain the power.  On the contrary, it seems to stay charged for a really long time.  That is so helpful, especially if you’re bad about not keeping a phone on the charger (like me!)    I’m still learning the ropes, so if you’ve got any BlackBerry tips, I’d love to hear them!
