Disclosure: I received a copy of this book for review. Opinions shared are mine.
If you’re in the market for a new Bible to gift to a child, take a peek at the The CSB Explorer Bible for Kids. It’s set up like a traditional Bible, but is so fun to look at! Get your copy here: http://bit.ly/3tsrPp3
Does your Bible have information about the Peacock Mantis Shrimp? What about crazy camel facts? Also, can your Bible link to videos through QR codes? Yeah, mine doesn’t, either.
There are so many vivid full-color images in the pages of this Bible that I found it hard to focus on the review…I just wanted to read all the sidebars! There are also cool character field guides with bulleted details about important historical individuals. Finally, the charts and timelines encourage kids to use test skills to engage with the Bible. In the photo above, you can see the Epic of Gilgamesh tablets that are actual historic artifacts. I have shown these same images to students in my 6th grade history classes. I love that kids can connect with this Bible as a historical document and not just a separate church-related text.
Why should kids have all the fun? You can totally get the CSB Explorer Bible for yourself.
