If you’ve ever wanted to know more about the Jewish faith, the Christian faith, or how the two are related, this series is for you. Generation to Generation is a 3-fold unit. The unit is provided through the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, also known as IFCJ.
First, the physical copy of the book by Yael Eckstein provides the background of the Jewish people. There are several moving stories in this book, including the author’s own family legacy. Generation to Generation would be a wonderful resource for Christian ministers to incorporate Jewish history in their sermons. I would recommend this to someone who is more established in their faith, either on the Christian or Jewish spectrum, as it’s not really “beginner” level information.
A workbook accompanies the physical book, and it’s free to download. This is a helpful companion to the book.
Finally, the Holy Land Moments Coloring Book is a devotional with coloring pages. It’s a great alternative activity when introducing some of these religious concepts to children or adults. In my family, this is the book I’d start with. With easy-to-follow information, it’s the perfect springboard for the theological discussions we’re likely to have in our house.
