Now that it’s fall break and I have a few minutes of extra time, I plan to go through our house and try to clear out some clutter. We have a plethora of plastic containers from various food sources, but only a few BPA-free containers with matching lids. We’ve been cooking at home almost every day for the past two months, so we’re really in need of containers to store leftovers. It seemed like a good time to make the switch to glass containers. I ended up purchasing this set from Amazon.

Glass containers #ad

For some reason, I expected these containers to be lightweight glass — like the kind used to make those trendy neoprene-covered reusable water bottles. Instead, these are heavy and sturdy. They remind me of Pyrex casserole dishes with cute lids.

The containers came in a tightly packed box with foam surrounding each larger piece.

The smaller bowls are nestled inside the larger ones. I love the blue color of the lids!

This set will be well used at our house. I like knowing that we’re doing something kind for our planet, as well as saving money by storing leftovers.

  1. I love to use glass vs. plastic storage. Easier to clean and better for the planet

I love glass. It’s hard to find glass containers that don’t have plastic lids though. When you put the plastic lids in the dishwasher, eventually warp. I have a lot of glass containers with no lids

I have been slowly but surely making the switch to glass and these look nice.
