His & Hers was possibly my favorite of 2020. It got better and better as the story went on. I listened to the audiobook version, which I highly recommend — the narration is terrific and really adds to the experience!

Then on the other hand, I rather wished I had the ebook version so I could highlight some of the great quotes from the book. Both of the main characters experienced some traumatic events in their lives — some separate, some shared — and their musings were wise and worldly.

There a lot of situations that could be a problem for sensitive readers. Be aware that there is mention of sex abuse, sexual assault, death, animal cruelty, and other triggers. Strong profanity is used a few times.
