Just before we got out of school for Covid-closure, our area had an entrepreneur expo for students. It was amazing to see how creative and business-minded my middle school students were! They were encouraged to come up with a product, a business plan, and they actually sold their goods at the expo. I was never so ambitious when I was a child, so this was super impressive for me. Today we got word that school is closed for the remainder of the academic year. Hopefully those kids are still flexing their creative muscles!

I liked that the book clearly defined the common ingredients needed to make bath bombs, soaps, and scrubs. It also explains some of the science behind these chemical reactions.

The photos in the book are colorful and fun. I love some of the color combinations and pattern ideas. For example, how fun to create a watermelon scrub that looks like watermelon?

The recipes contain a lot of items, so it looks like a person would have to make a considerable investment for ingredients. Some people might already have some of the items. I imagine that those who make DIY candles might have a stash of essential oils or molds. You could always start simple and then purchase more ingredients if you find that you really like creating bath bombs, scrubs, and soaps.
