My favorite love stories are the ones built on friendship. Even when there’s been a rift in the relationship, there’s a connection that goes beyond physical attraction. In the Love Inspired book Hometown Hope by Laurel Blount Anna and Hoyt are just the sweetest pair you’ve ever seen!
I adored the small-town setting of this book. Top that off with a bookstore and a cute dog Just can’t get better than that!
There’s a light vein of prayer and faith that runs through this story. It’s perfectly balanced with the other family values presented. I loved that. Readers will also find a strong message regarding the Shop Local movement. It definitely inspired me to look for small businesses that I might have missed in my area!
Romance novels aren’t usually my thing, but I really enjoyed Hometown Hope. I haven’t read the other books in the Pine Valley series (didn’t know there was a series, actually, until the end of the book). That didn’t affect my understanding of the story at all. I’d like to go back and read the others, though!
This sounds like a good small-town/family-values romance novel!
No place like home, sounds like a nice theme to this book.
