It’s been a big year for us, what with our daughter finishing up high school, and she has some understandable anxiety about the anticipation of college. I love finding small ways to encourage her and keep her inspired to push ahead. I can’t wait to give her The Horacio Printing Christian Dream Planner at Christmas. It’s the perfect way to greet a new year, with the message that “The best is yet to come!” (Get 10% off with code 2022ISMYYEAR)
Opening the package was a huge treat. The planner and other items are enclosed in a pretty drawstring bag, all wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with a sticker that says “You are loved.” What a beautiful way to present this as a gift.
For my daughter, I chose the Blush Leather Coil vegan leather planner because I like that it opens flat to sit on a desk. This will be perfect for her to keep her schedule organized next year. She has always used a planner daily, so this routine can carry over into her college years. In addition to the planner, we received a lovely sewn journal and a gold pen.
One feature I really liked about the journal was the clean page setup. You can customize the layout — horizontal or vertical. I chose the weekly horizontal layout. The pages are thick enough to avoid pen bleed-through.
Aside from the traditional calendar pages, you’ll find lots of blank areas for notes, doodles, and positive vibes. I love the focus on encouragement and gratitude. A snap-in bookmark makes it easy to keep your place, and there are pockets in the covers to hold odds and ends. While this is a Christian themed planner, the spiritual notes are gentle and subtle, which is what my daughter prefers.
This is a wonderful planner for a busy student, mom, or even for a teacher. It makes a great gift, too. Enter to win a white marble planner here!
