We’re doing a new House Points system at school this year. It makes me feel as if we’re at Hogwarts! The program is based on the Ron Clark Academy system, in case you’re interested in looking it up. I’m in the blue house, and our House’s animal is the unicorn. We got to celebrate our unicorn-ness with flair last week. When was the last time you got to sport a unicorn headband at work?
I’ve been buying all kinds of unicorn items since the school year started. My classroom is mostly decorated in hot pink, so unicorn items fit in perfectly! Here are some of the things I have purchased.
Office Depot and Amazon offer a cute unicorn pen for around $5. This should make it a bit more fun to grade papers and sign clinic passes.
Nutty Toys sent me this adorable squishy unicorn! It brightens my desk and makes me smile. I love the tiny stars, too. Get yours here:
You can bet I’ll be looking for more unicorn items as the year goes on. It’s fun to start a collection!
