I grew up watching Kathie Lee Gifford with Regis on TV. My grandmother always really liked Kathie Lee because she shared that she was an unapologetic Christian. Her book instantly caught my eye, then I noticed that the foreword is from Dolly Parton. Two such classy ladies — how much better can it get?
As expected, Kathie Lee is endlessly encouraging, funny, and inspiring in her book. Here are some of my favorite quotes from the book:
“A wish and a dream are not the same.” (this is a Dolly quote)
“Toss out the phrases I can’t and I don’t know how and start dreaming about the what-if…”
(talking about her kids) “Let them write a book that can’t hurt my feelings when I’m dead.” and “I don’t resent them for my stretch marks at all.”
Kathie Lee lives out what she preaches. She candidly shares her own adventures and risks she took –and is still taking –in life. I think she’s an amazing person and am so excited to share her book with you!
When I checked on Amazon, her book was only $4.83 for the hardcover! It would make such a thoughtful gift for Mother’s Day or anytime for a Kathy Lee fan.

I too used to watch Regis and Kathie Lee too. She definitely was colorful and didn’t take anyone’s crap!
In my opinion, when she left, no one could take her place! Just fill her space! She is quite a role model for women. She reminds me of Erin Brockovich.
In 2015 Gifford was inducted into the Broadcast & Cable Hall of Fame. She has been chosen to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2021. She’s a go getter for sure!
Looks like a good book.
