I’m not a journal keeper, so the gratitude book I started a few years ago has long gone by the wayside. I try to stop and appreciate the little things that make me happy.
Chalkboard Labels
My classroom “color” is hot pink, and I have it everywhere! It brightens the space. My students have 6 classes a day, and remembering where common items are found can be difficult for them. I had some cute clips on the Lost & Found crate, but it was accidentally broken. These chalkboard labels will be cute and more permanent.
My Garden
My daughter helped me plant wildflowers in early July. We had a patch in the raised bed that needed some color. They are now in bloom, so beautiful, and they make me smile every day.
At-Home Hair Color
A fresh box of Madison Reed hair color arrived on Friday. As my color fades, it wears off gradually and leaves behind a brown and silver shine that looks like highlights. It’s so much better than having the dreaded root reveal! Madison Reed just released Prime for Perfection, a step that helps to prepare color-treated hair. I’m excited to try it with my next order!
Clothes fresh out of the dryer make me happy
Fixing up the kitchen pantry makes me happy i.e. organizing the spices, coffee, etc.
Reading makes me happy and clean laundry. I love the smell of clean clothes
