Okay, I might be exaggerating just a tad. But you don’t know how I am in the morning. Until my eyes see natural light, I can be a bit of a beast. For a few months now, I’ve needed to have strong light when putting on my makeup. Age does that to a person, I’ve heard, and it’s starting to hit me. I usually put on my makeup and style my hair in front of the mirror in my bedroom, but it’s an over-the-door mirror. So, every time my husband wants to walk through the door, I release a huffy breath of frustration. Then this lighted makeup mirror from MCHATTE arrived and everything’s good now!

I really like that this mirror closes up to double as a makeup case. It will be easy to take with me in a suitcase or carry-on bag. The hard shell should also help it keep my makeup from bouncing around too much.

The set includes a magnifying mirror as well. It’s hand-held so you can use it to tweeze your brows or apply that smidge of eyeshadow just in the corners.

I was so surprised at the brightness of the light on this makeup mirror! It has a 3-way light, so you can adjust the brightness and even the shade. There is an included power cord (USB cable) to make this even easier.

The interior organizer of this mirror holds a decent amount of supplies. I did find that the divided compartments are a bit too small for holding anything but the skinniest of lipsticks. That’s okay, because I can keep the basics in it.

My husband will be grateful that I’m not barricading the door anymore, and I appreciate that I can even use this mirror while sitting on my bed!
