Though DNA testing has been around for a while, I still find it totally fascinating. It’s amazing that scientists can determine lineage and other details based on their genetics. In the book Not Your Child by Lis Angus, one mother becomes desperate for answers and depends on DNA testing to provide them.

The suspense in Not Your Child fuels every mother’s nightmares. From the creepy stalking man to the angsty tween, there’s also plenty of drama. I felt sorry for Susan. It would be so hard to go through her situation! There were a couple of moments when I wasn’t sure which direction the story would go. The ending was a gut-wrencher! This is a very quick read; I finished it in about an hour.
