If you haven’t treated yourself to a Becky Wade book yet, you’ve got to fix that situation! Her stories are lovely; you’ll find yourself drifting through the pages with a smile on your face. The romances are sweet while being fairly realistic. I think they’re the perfect summer book choice. Her newest title, Sweet on You, is a delight to read.

My sister gave me her old Kindle and I’ve been blazing through the ebooks. Before this, I’d been reading ebooks on my phone. Considering I have to have the font on supersize, it used to take me forever.  Dear Wife by Kimberly Belle was a wonderful treat of a read in the most menacing way!

There’s so much to love about The Boy Next Story! For all you hopeless romantics out there, this book is good for one smile after another.

I’m always so grateful when we get the chance to get out of town in our camper for a few days. By far, my favorite beach trip was last year’s visit to Pirate Land! We pulled our camper right up to the beach and just had the best time. It was really cold that week, at least in the mornings, so I really enjoyed taking my delicious cups of coffee outside to drink in the chilly morning breeze. Steeped Coffee is a great option for those who want a single-serve cup of brewed coffee without hassling with a machine or coffee maker. All you need is a mug of hot water!

What inspires you to be adventurous, try new things, and take risks? My kids are my inspiration! I love seeing the world through their eyes. Since they’ve always lived in this small corner of the world, it’s fun to expand their vision through books. The National Geographic 2020 Almanac is a terrific way to inspire new ideas!

I distinctly remember a time several years ago when I felt self-conscious about buying a book in the YA section. I grabbed Twilight off the shelf and walked briskly to the counter. For some reason, I felt like a weirdo reading a book about teen vampire love. Thankfully, the desire to read amazing books won out and I got over that complex — otherwise, think of all the books I would have missed! Consider Hope and Other Punchlines by Julie Buxbaum my do-over.

Mama always said, “You’ve got to love yourself,” but sometimes that’s easier said than done. Whether it’s body image or other insecurities, we’re all victim to self-criticism. In Waisted, characters learn to take self-love seriously. The book releases on May 21, 2019.
