The Certain Hope by E. C. Jackson

On Tour with Prism Book Tours

Today a friend at work had some great news.  She’d been considering a divorce, but was able to work things out with her husband.  She said they never took the time to talk about their problems.  Things just came between them that way.  As we rejoiced with her, another friend commented that, “Marriage is hard.”  It’s so true!  Finding that person, recognizing love, and making the commitment….it’s all wonderful and exciting, but probably the easiest part of marriage.  I don’t know that I’ve ever been a believer in love at first sight because of that.  In my opinion, it takes a lot more than love to make a relationship work!  The Certain Hope isn’t really a true vision of love, but it could be an entertaining read if you enjoy romance.

It’s spring break here in northeast Tennessee, and it’s wonderful.  We’ve been in and out of the house all weekend.  The sunshine was spectacular, and I can’t get enough of the gentle breeze in my hair.  I love the way spring smells.  Today I started thinking about my garden and what we might grow this summer.  Glory Road by Lauren Denton is the perfect novel for those who can’t wait to get their hands dirty!

Do you think hair regrowth is possible?

When life gets stressful, my hair starts falling out.  I’ve used hair regrowth shampoo with great success!  The only hangup is that I have to use it consistently.  The product I used in the past isn’t available anymore, so I had to find something new.  This week my new supply of ArtNaturals shampoo and conditioner arrived.  It has good results on Amazon, so I’m very hopeful that it will help to regrow my hair in spots where it’s thinning! Downton Abbey is the show I like to have in the background when I’m cleaning house or doing laundry.  It’s such a different world!  In The Parting Glass by Gina Marie Guadagnino, the life of lady’s maid Mary Ballard is the apex of a love triangle threatening to topple due to high society and family bonds.

JellyTelly Press board books and coloring books

Without a doubt, my kids are spending more time online than ever before.  We monitor what they watch, but that doesn’t always leave a lot of family-friendly entertainment.  Even the “basic” networks have profanity, adult content, and violence.  I don’t think it’s possible, or even healthy, to completely shelter the kids from every worldly influence.  Still, I want them to have wholesome choices.  JellyTelly Press has fun options for books and activities!
