There are days when blogging and real life don’t mix. On the night of my annual cook-three-potluck-dishes, for example, the kitchen is a complete disaster. I’ve tried a few backdrop alternatives with limited success. Paper sheets often get torn or folded, rendering them useless. I used to keep a beadboard panel for photos, but it was heavy and unwieldy for photos. The satin finish on the boards looks pretty, but doesn’t give off the glare that you’ll find with glass or polished products. As you can see from the photo below, there’s no reflective sheen on the surfaces.
