If you’d rather spend your spring break budget on fun instead of wardrobe refreshers, here are a few tips to help you stretch those funds.
Versatile Pieces
Instead of buying clothes that work for spring OR summer, look for pieces that you’ll enjoy all year ’round. The striped Vanessa dress is just $19.99 with FREE shipping (code BUYME through 3/1/20 midnight) and can be easily paired with booties or sandals. Wear it with a denim jacket on cooler mornings; roll up the sleeves when the temperature rises. With that cute drawstring waist, you might even be able to wear it as a swimsuit coverup!

New Accessories
This is a good time to take a peek at your accessories. Whatever doesn’t work for you anymore needs to be passed along to a consignment shop or donation facility.
I recently had a frustrating morning because I couldn’t find a belt. It seems like the belts I had were suddenly frayed or wouldn’t stay fastened. At the same time, I noticed that my husband’s belt was in pretty bad shape, too. Belts can be pretty expensive, so look for deals when you’re already shopping in the accessory department. Don’t forget about Amazon! This men’s belt currently has a 5% off coupon.
It’s simple but does the job.
Shop in-store
In the past few years, my shopping habits have drastically changed. I definitely shop online more often, especially for clothing items. When I go in-store, though, I usually notice new styles and trends that I didn’t notice online. It’s helpful to shop in store at least once at the beginning of the new season, just so you can get an idea about what’s out there. If you see something you like at a price you don’t like, check online to see if you can find it cheaper.
I love the dress. So timeless and cute
Totally makes sense to buy things that can move from spring to summer. I definitely try to do that.

I usually shop at thrift stores for my clothes. Much cheaper and if you search you can find some nice things.
