I’m always so grateful when we get the chance to get out of town in our camper for a few days. By far, my favorite beach trip was last year’s visit to Pirate Land! We pulled our camper right up to the beach and just had the best time. It was really cold that week, at least in the mornings, so I really enjoyed taking my delicious cups of coffee outside to drink in the chilly morning breeze. Steeped Coffee is a great option for those who want a single-serve cup of brewed coffee without hassling with a machine or coffee maker. All you need is a mug of hot water!
The box of Steeped Coffee came with several different flavors. I love how cute these little packets look! Since it’s evening, I decided to try the Eventide decaf blend.
I poured some hot water over the bag and let it steep for 5 minutes. My daughter came by and noticed what I was doing…and stole the coffee. She let me have a sip — it was absolutely delicious. So fresh, smooth, and rich! She said, “I can’t believe no one has done this yet!” I couldn’t agree more. It’s like the simplicity of a tea bag with the taste of freshly ground coffee.
I’ve had my Keurig for a few years. Though I try to clean it regularly, I always wonder (and worry) about the true cleanliness of it. Furthermore, it feels so wasteful to throw away those little plastic K-cups every day. Since my daughter and I only drink one cup each, we don’t like preparing a coffeepot just for ourselves. Steeped is a terrific alternative! I plan to keep some of the Steeped packets at work for the times when I need a pick-me-up midday.
One lucky Savings in Seconds reader will win a sample box of Steeped single-serve coffee! The giveaway is open to US readers ages 18+. Void where prohibited by law. Good luck!
