It’s time to stash away stocking stuffers for the Christmas season. It’s a relief when I have most of the shopping finished before Thanksgiving — it means I can enjoy the holidays without feeling the crunch. This year, I’m going to put this survival bracelet in my son’s stocking. I think he’ll love it! I always wondered what you could do with these paracord accessories.
As I mentioned a few days ago, I’m currently reading Hatchet by Gary Paulsen with my students. We have had many discussions about using tools in new ways, being resourceful, and packing light. My son will be reading Hatchet next year. I know he’ll think about this bracelet when he does!
This bracelet is generously sized. I don’t have dainty wrists, yet the bracelet was quite roomy. It’s lightweight and not at all bulky.
So many tools are contained in this tiny package! It can be used to start a fire, anchor a tent, or even stop bleeding. There’s a tiny little whistle that creates a huge noise, too! The mini-compass is easy to read. Overall, this is a great gadget to have on hand for camping and hiking trips.
It looks nice! thank you for sharing

Thanks for introducing me to survival bracelets. Had never heard of them before this. Kills a couple birds with one stone – lightweight and multipurpose.
