My mom and stepdad made a quick weekend visit to end their Thanksgiving tour. They just left this morning, and the house was still reasonably presentable from the panic-clean we went through on Friday. That gave me some time to enjoy my book, The Wives by Tarryn Fisher. This is due to release at the end of December.
OH MY GOSH.
The Wives book had my mind spinning! The story is a tangled pile of psychological thriller + domestic suspense. Just when I thought the whirlwind was over, the wind picked me up again and swirled me all around in “what just happened?!” mode.
Every bit of this book is the kind of juicy behind-closed-doors drama you might see on a reality TV show. More than once, I was grateful for my plain, reliable husband. He owns ten pairs of the same khaki pants, and is happy with whatever I cook for him on any given day. I’m a lucky lady.
Great book for fans of B. A. Paris or Kimberly Belle. It’s got a marriage on the rocks kind of vibe that makes you want to peek from behind your fingers. The Wives is the perfect option to take you out of the holiday stress for a few minutes!
Looks like a great read. I can imagine the drama, how fun
