It’s time to switch up your worship music, people.  I tend to listen to the same albums and playlists over and over.  Thanks to FlyBy, I have the new Tori Kelly CD “Hiding Place” to enjoy.  This album is already a favorite!

Tori Kelly’s style is completely different than most of the worship music playing on the radio today.  This is soulful, reminiscent of R & B hits from the 80s and 90s.  In fact, one song even talks about New Edition!

The lyrics will hit you between the eyes.  One of my favorite lines was, “even in these church clothes I can’t dress up my soul.”   God sees it all.

Tori Kelly is a new artist for me, but she’s not new to the music scene. She was a 2016 Grammy Award nominee!  Her collaboration with the renowned Kirk Franklin really shines through in this album.
