My kids LOVE watching Super WHY! on PBS. The characters are fun and colorful with exciting adventures in every episode. I love letting my kids watch Super WHY! because it’s healthy imagination exercise. It also encourages pre-reading skills that are so critical for preschoolers. I am really excited that the Super WHY Live tour is coming to Knoxville, TN in July!! We were offered tickets in exchange for a review. We’re really looking forward to it. My son has never attended a live show before. I know it will be a great experience for him.
In the live show, the characters (Super Why, Alpha Pig, Wonder Red, Princess Presto, Woofster) will explore what they’ve always wanted to be. There should be lots of opportunities for audience interaction as well. It will give me a good opportunity to talk with my kids about their dreams for the future. We’re taking our 8 year old daughter too, because she’s a Super Why fan as well! As I said, live entertainment is a good experience for young children and I think it’s a great chance for us to have good discussion about what my kids observe in the show.
I’m interested to see how the production team puts together the show. The designers include a Tony Award-winning scenic designer as well as an Emmy and Tony-award nominated lighting designer. The producers’ work include Yo Gabba Gabba Live! so it should be a great show. The show also features music from Jack Antonoff (see video below).

Ahhh! My kids would LOVE this, they’re huge SuperWHY fans. The closest one to me thought is Birmingham but that’s four hours away. Maybe they’ll add more dates and locations. Thanks for sharing this post, I’m going to have to keep my eyes out on they’re schedule now.
