Disclosure: I received a copy of this book for review. Opinions shared are mine.
I liked this new suspense from Kelly Irvin. The San Antonio setting was interesting because I recognized some of the places mentioned in the book.
In the story, readers are taken to two different timelines — 10 years ago in the past, when Corey was murdered, then present day when Ellie was murdered. A circle of friends grieve these deaths, but no one is more surprised than Delaney by the book’s end. As one clue leads to another, the story becomes a tangled web that threatens to choke them all. More than anything, I felt sorry for the main characters in Trust Me. I was sad that they lost so many years of their lives to grief, sadness, and betrayal.
