We are 2 days away from fall break, and it is in the air! The students at school are W-I-L-D, teachers are worn out, and we all just need some time off. I found myself dragging by the end of today, and decided to just sit down and enjoy the rest of my book: Wait for Me by Sara Shepard.
Realizing that I was not the target audience for this book, I tried to read it with my 16 year-old-self in mind. I would have LOVED a book like this back in my teen years! The plot was unique and very engaging. I sincerely wanted to know how the story would end.
As a mom, I appreciate that this was a clean read. There are a few mentions of underage drinking and making out, but it was relatively innocent otherwise. It’s one of those books that you don’t want to know too much going in, so I’ll avoid giving too many details so we don’t risk spoilers.
The book releases in November 2022. Put it on your wishlist!
