Growing up, my mother would not buy me a pair of elastic waist pants. I had a pair of sweatpants to wear to gym class and that was it. She said elastic waist pants would make me fat. Never mind the thought of exercising, portion control, or anything else…according to mom, the pants were in control. I have to admit that it was a slippery slope once I did wear stretch pants…but so worth it. Some days, you just need a pair of yoga pants. If they have a pocket for your cell phone, even better!

These yoga pants are stretchy and comfortable. They’re perfect for running errands because these pockets are DEEP. You can carry just about anything in them, and there are TWO!

Just to see what would fit in there, I put my son’s Nintendo DS in that pocket. Betcha didn’t realize that would fit, huh? These are the perfect pockets for my errand-snacks. Don’t tell my mom!

Since we’re on the subject of absolute comfort, let me show you this Cherokee Women’s Modal Robe I received from Always Fashionable. When I get home from work, the very first things I do is (a) pet the dog and (b) put on my pajamas. This robe is lovely! It’s going to be my favorite new thing to wear around the house, I just know it. So soft, it reminds me of jersey, and it’s the ideal length for wearing over a nightgown. I love the 3/4 sleeves which are open and loose.

I got this in size XL which is what I’d usually buy, but could probably have sized down. It’s very generous and flowy; it even reminds me of the cute cardigans I’ve been seeing online. Over the summer, you could wear this as a swimsuit coverup. Go ahead and wear it outside — I won’t tell. I might just be wearing mine, too.
